"I called James Bartram of bFit as I had realised that my middle was expanding at an alarming rate and I had been consistently failing the “speed bump” test ie every time you drive over a speed bump your fat keeps wobbling for at least 2 minutes afterwards !!
James carried out a full fitness test for me which clearly showed that fat was not the only thing I had to worry about. My general fitness levels were appalling.
James has worked with me to develop a fun and easy to do range of exercises that have not only helped me to loose that spare tyre but also increased my fitness levels. The benefits have been enormous helping me in all areas of my life. James has a wonderful way of communicating and a natural gift for empathising with the needs of his clients. Confidence Building

Getting Fit with the Kids
" James agreed to the challenge of getting my 17 year old, Mel who had had no regular exercise since the age of 14. She loved to sit and watch TV and eat little snacks!

Approaching adulthood, we realized that she needed to get into shape to ensure confidence etc at interviews. Being attractive and well qualified is not enough in this competitive world. It certainly helps to have a good shape and posture too, along with confidence because you feel good about yourself.

James listened, got to know Mel's likes & dislikes, how she ticked, assessed her fitness level and her goals and why.
Then he got to work, each day she may feel like doing a different routine, whether it was a run (that started in spurts of only 3 minute runs then walking) she now within just 2 months is running 10k without stopping!

He must of lost count of the number of times she's said " I can't". and he proves to her she can. She is proud of her achievements, I think we all are. She has loads more energy generally, she walks into town instead of taking the bus and cycles to work at the weekend.

He's advised her on diet and she is slowly taking it all on-board. She's a 'teenager' and I take my hat off to James!"

Fitness Training for Work
"I contacted James a few months ago to help me to get very fit before my exams to be a firefighter. Despite my asthma I started to get stronger and faster. I really enjoyed his programs, he’s really motivating, made me work harder than ever before and made me believe in myself and my potential.
