"I came across James' bootcamp when I was looking at joining a gym. Financially it worked out much better than any gym I found. I was a bit nervous when I went for the first session, because I am certainly not the fittest person around, but I had a great time. I have been going for about a month now and really enjoy it (something I never thought I would say about exercise!) The atmosphere is really friendly, and as someone who works in an office all day it is so good to spend some time out in the fresh air. I would recommend anyone to come to bootcamp!"

"I met James Bartram whilst running round Hove Lawns. Previously, I'd only ever trained on my own: running, swimming, cycling, and the occasional few halfhearted press-ups. Whilst I felt reasonably fit, by the first couple of Bootcamp sessions two things became clear: firstly, training on your own is pretty boring. Secondly, having someone who knows what they're doing pushing you is much more effective than relying on your own motivation.
Bootcamp is a fun and friendly environment that gets you fit quickly! James keeps class sizes to a point where he can keep an eye on individual needs, which allows people of differing fitness levels to train together. There's also a huge range of different exercises so no two training sessions are ever the same. Above all, James is a great motivator so if you're the sort of person who needs that extra push to really work yourself that bit harder then Bootcamp is ideal.

"After belonging to a gym for a couple of months I was getting bored of the same old routine, with the lack of encouragement and enthusiasm from the staff. I was looking on the internet for personal trainers and the cost was putting me off, then I found James site Bfitbootcamp.co.uk .
I emailed him and he encouraged me to come down for a free trail session. Everyone was so friendly and James is so encouraging. You can see his enthusiasm and passion he really motivates you to give the best you can.
The group is so friendly and we all have a laugh while working out.

"I was looking for a daytime fitness class (we don't all work office hours you know!) training in a group and preferably outdoors. I searched high low for my dream without success... Tough? Definitely! James has a great knack for taking you up to your limit but not beyond it.
How does he motivate you? By leading from the front and communicating his own enthusiasm directly to the group. Yes it's tough... but afterwards I literally glow down to the tips of my fingers and toes.
Is it just for the young and already fit? By no means - I'm in my fifties and I'd got really unfit over the past decade.

"I decided to join in with bootcamp one evening after walking past a couple of times previously. I had watched James training with a group of people and they all looked like they were working hard but having fun!
I recently left the Fire Service and started an office job which, if I am honest, meant that my fitness went down hill and I lost all of my enthusiasm to train as hard as I had been doing over the past several years. I knew my body shape was starting to change and I would struggle to do a ten minute run let alone the 10k runs I used to do every week!

"I really enjoy the fact that we are training outside & not in the gym. The fresh air makes it much more fun. I enjoy the variety of exercises that James uses & that he concentrates on all of us & makes sure we are doing the exercises properly. No session is ever the same, he changes stuff around, always introducing new things. I love the boxing! James is very motivating, when I first started bootcamp I would give up on exercises when they became a little hard, with his support & enthusiasm I now work much harder & get so much more out of the session & with a constant smile on my face. I went to the first few sessions with a friend as I didn’t want to start on my own. My friend is now in Australia for 6 weeks. I shall still be doing bootcamp as the other people are all very nice. Oh….i’m losing some weight too!!
